194 - Sexy is Timeless with Luisa Diaz

Listeners, this week we have a conversation with Luisa Diaz

Luisa is an actress, who has been featured in Oscar-winning movies such as The Fighter and Silver Linings Playbook. She is the former Ms. Venezuela International and is known in North Carolina as “Luisa Su Voz Latina” (Luisa your Latin voice), where Luisa was the host and producer of the first and longest-running Spanish language TV program produced in a major network. It ran for three years in North Carolina with interviews of celebrities in the Latin community such as Jorge Ramos, Cristina Saralegui, and Oprah Winfrey, among others. Through her success with her show, she became a personality and a brand name.

Through her simple advice, Diaz outlines ten different characteristics of sexiness that make women feel validated and more assertive. Interestingly, none of these aspects specifically address body type or images of traditional beauty. Instead, Diaz shares fun and relatable personal examples of what she has worked to improve her own life and the lives of others. Her insight and support help bring understanding to the reader’s unique attributes and own self-worth. She also is Mrs. New York International 2019.

During this episode we talked about:

  • The language barrier with her first husband

  • Her family's fears when moving to the USA

  • Having no regrets

  • How the Universe unfolds when you're passionate

  • Kindness and weakness

  • How she shakes herself up to act.

  • Doing things in spite of fear

  • And more...
