Siria's journey from defense law to plaintiff's personal injury work led her to confront her own struggles and advocate for mental health in the legal profession. Siria also shares her upcoming book release, "The Retreat," and the transformative power of claiming her Guatemalan and Nicaraguan identity.
Siria L. Gutierrez, CPCC & Esq., (she/her/ella) is a high performance leadership coach and mental health advocate. She guides lawyers, doctors, and small business owners to transition from overwhelm to doing meaningful work aligned with their values, allowing them to enjoy life beyond their laptops. She is a First Gen professional from Guatemala y Nicaragua, earning her B.A. from UCLA and her J.D. from the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV. Siria knows "lawyering is a skillset, not an identity" and that to be a good lawyer you must be a healthy person. Siria is also a founder of the Huellas mentorship program run by La Voz at UNLV, an award winning four-tier mentorship program, former Nevada Latino Bar Association President, and was named one of the Top Lawyers under 40 by the Hispanic National Bar Association in 2021. She also serves as faculty for Sari De La Motte's national Plaintiff's trial consulting group, From Hostage to Hero, providing trial skills and mindset coaching to her peers. Siria enjoys watercolor art, live theater, writing fiction and poetry, and being a content creator.
