397 - Get Rooted: Rediscovering Heritage with Robyn Moreno
Listeners, this week we have a conversation with Robyn Moreno
In this episode, Pam engages in a heartwarming conversation with Robyn Moreno, exploring the depths of identity, heritage, and personal growth. Robyn shares her journey of self-discovery through her Mexican American roots and her understanding of "Ser," or true essence.
Robyn Moreno is a storyteller, curanderismo practitioner, meditation teacher, and mama of two. Her latest book, Get Rooted, was recently published from Hachette Go.
Believing that young people “can’t be what they can’t see,” Robyn has worked tirelessly as a cross-platform storyteller, mentor, and thought leader to create and elevate empowering stories about Latine via her podcast “Get Rooted with Robyn Moreno,” and through her roles as an Emmy-nominated TV host; four-time author; Today Show contributor; Editor-In-Chief and Co-President of Latina Media Ventures; and teacher at the Omega Institute.
Robyn is a popular keynote speaker and facilitator and has presented at SXSW Interactive, the Sundance Film Festival, The Raizado Festival, BlogHer, Pennsylvania Conference for Women, Texas Conference for Women, The Animus Summit, Hispanicize, and Yale University, among others.
A native Texan and certified yoga teacher and life coach, Robyn lives with her family in the Hudson Valley of NY.
